Terms & Conditions

My Dog Toy is a UK based company. All goods you see on the site are held in the company’s warehouse and items will be dispatched together. Prices are UK recommended retail prices, unless the item is on SALE or promotion. All prices include VAT at 20%.

Making your order
Placing an order is easy, you simply click the ‘add to basket’ button and when you have finished shopping view your cart where you can see the order total.  When you are happy with your order simply ‘proceed to checkout’.  You will then be asked if you are a returning customer, if not you will need to supply your details to create an account.  You are able to choose a different address for delivery and supply notes for any special instructions.

If any item is out of stock, we will contact you to inform you of this and give you an expected delivery date or the option of cancelling your order.

Making your payment
Once your order is placed you will be able to use PayPal to pay, or your credit or debit card, the choice is yours. You will then receive email notification of your order and your payment.

If you would rather NOT make your payment online, simply phone on 01243 265378 or email sales@mydogtoy.co.uk and we will arrange for an invoice to be mailed to you. Goods can then be paid for by cheque or bank transfer.

Postage and packing charges
Orders are normally shipped by Royal Mail and will be dispatched within 2 working days of the order being placed. Proof of posting will be obtained from the post office. Larger orders will be send using Parcelforce or a similar carrier. Expect your goods to arrive within 4-5 working days of the order being placed. If you are not in to accept your delivery, you will find a card put through your door for you to collect the goods from your local Post Office.

Orders over £15 are free of carriage charges otherwise there is a flat rate shipping charge of £3.50 per order. Christmas, bank holidays or bad weather could delay your order. Shipping prices are for UK addresses only. If you would like items to be send abroad, please contact us by email or telephone and a shipping price will be calculated for you.

Cancelling an order
If you make a mistake, or need to cancel an order, please contact us by email on sales@mydogtoy.co.uk or phone on 01243 265378 as soon as possible to avoid the goods being shipped. If the goods are shipped, you will be able to return them for a full refund, but you will have to pay the carriage charges.

Returns and exchanges
Faulty or damaged goods will be refunded in full (including the cost of the return postage), please contact us on sales@mydogtoy.co.uk as soon as possible if this happens. You are also able to return goods if they do not full fill your expectations, however you will then be liable for the return postage costs. All items to be returned or exchanged must be in their original unused state, with all packaging in tact. Customers will be liable for the cost of the return postage and refunds will be given excluding the cost of postage. If items are to be returned or exchanged, we must be informed by email sales@mydogtoy.co.uk, or by telephone 01243 265378 within 7-days of the goods arriving with you.

Please allow 7-10 working days for exchanges and returns to be processed. We are not responsible for return postage or for goods that do not arrive back with us, so it is advisable to send returned goods by special delivery or recorder delivery, or in a way to be sure that the goods do arrive back with My Dog Toy. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item(s) are faulty. Returned goods should be sent to My Dog Toy, 1 Southwark Walk, Aldwick, Bognor PO21 3RR.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order placed with us or for any reason at our absolute discretion either before or after payment has been made.
